Not Your Average Broccoli Salad

Broccoli, I call it the king of the vegetable world! It helps prevent cancer (has even been used to treat cancer), it helps protect our bodies from toxic radiation and it helps with arthritis suffering. There are lots of other incredible health benefits with broccoli, so I use it as much as possible.  Read more about the health benefits of broccoli on Natural News.

Broccoli tastes great when it is prepared with sweet ingredients, like apples or raisins. I often saute or grill broccoli and apples that have been tossed in coconut oil, then puree them to make deliciously smooth-textured baby food. Babies love it! They think they are having dessert!
