Allergy Free Snack Ideas

Who doesn’t need a quick and easy snack? Whether you or your kids need to stay on an allergy free diet…I’m got the snacks for you! All of these are great to keep on hand, since many of us are busy, busy, busy, we need healthy on-the-go eats that SATISFY!

These are in no particular order:

  • Fried Chick peas or Green peas
  • Pepperoni, or other sliced meats (no fillers), sausages
  • Whole fruit
  • Fresh veggies with Dairy free Ranch dip
  • Hummus on dairy free Rice crackers (recipe from The Start Menu)
  • Dried fruits or veggies (unsweetened and unsulfurized)
  • Hemp butter on Wild rice cake
  • Organic Trail Mix with sunflower and pumpkin seeds
  • Sweet Potato Crisps
  • Protein/snack bars (check labels)
  • Baby Mum-mums
  • Rice Chex (check label to make sure there are no barley ingredients) I mix with dried fruit
  • Bean Dip with homemade Potato chips fried in canola oil
  • So Delicious Coconut yogurt
  • Popped Amaranth
  • Pickles
  • Olives
  • Chia seeds, organic, toasted
  • Applesauce, organic
  • Hard Boiled Organic Cage-free Eggs
  • Cooked Bacon Strips, organic, no hormones or antibiotics
  • Sunflower butter on celery
  • Homemade jello, made of fruit juice & unflavored gelatin
  • Fruit Smoothies, which can also be poured into popsicle molds and frozen
  • Frozen banana pops, cut banana in half with peel on, insert popsicle stick, freeze, then remove peel, dip in coconut yogurt and roll in crushed cereal and re-freeze


And, of course, there are tons of options at the natural foods market when it comes to sweets, although many contain cane sugar so read the labels carefully.
